Jimmy and Shari Rodden
Games Chairs and Directors
Over a year ago while we visited the Fort Jimmy was surveying the area and simply wanted his ‘kin’ there. Jimmy immediately knew, without knowing how and when that this location would be unique. Then fate happened.
When the Elite Athletes lost their home we knew we had to take action. Jimmy as the President of the Saint Andrews Society of Maine and Shari Events Director took our idea to the SASME board and a new alliance was formed, the seed has now been planted. The hard work is coming into fruition. The pride we hold in everyone on this team humbles us, their tenacity, and love for their heritage of our homeland. We make this promise to all of you, in this Alliance newly born, that no harm nor impunity will prevail upon anyone pledging allegiance.
God Bless all in your house !

It’s exciting to see the beginning of what promises to be another great Highland Games in New England. I’m also sure with the help of Dr. Bill and Holly Crawford this Games will become a top notch venue for Heavy Athletics and Stonelifting. May this be the start of greatness for generations to come.

Stone ManI have been involved with Highland Games for many years, mostly in Scotland but since 2017 the USA also, where I helped introduce Stopelifting as a strength feet that the crowd could get involved in & try for themselves, learning the technical aspects of the Stone lift & how it can be a very functional movement & applied to day to day life activities.
l am looking forward to being involved with this newly established Highland Games which are managed & run by some truly great people who will make these games one of the greatest in the world & bring a unique experience for everyone in attendance for many years to come.

Athletic Director Highland Games
Being one of the Founding members of the New England Scottish Alliance, I find continual gratitude being surrounded by the community within the Highland Games and Festivals. Through our efforts at No Fames Games we have helped forge strong relationships that we believe will continue to propel our culture, heritage, sport, and community forward in this modern day.
My contribution will be to bring bridge-building, creativity, gratitude, athletic excellence, and hype to the Festival at Fort 4. Perhaps some culinary surprises as well. May we work together to bridge the gap between the wisdom of the old with the exuberance of the new.
